Recipe 

This nutritious recipe is easy to make. Perfect source of protein for health benefits and sustained energy throughout your day. Make it ahead of time, easy and convenient for you to enjoy as a nourishing meal. 

 

Serves 2 | Prep time: 8 min, plus chilling time

Ingredients: 

  • 1 medium pink lady apple, unpeeled – coarsely grated
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 sachet Healthy Trim vanilla
  • 1/2 cup apple juice
  • 1/2 cup natural yoghurt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons flaked almonds
  • 2 tablespoons chopped walnuts
  • 2 tablespoons shredded coconut

Method:

  1. In a large bowl, add the grated apple, rolled oats, vanilla powder, apple juice, yoghurt, cinnamon, flaked almonds, walnuts and coconut.
  2. Mix well, until combined.
  3. Cover and place in the fridge for at least 2 hours or overnight.

To Serve:

Spoon bircher muesli into two serving dishes.

*Top with extra yoghurt, drizzle with honey, add fruit, extra nuts to serve.
